Art Dubai Expands Leadership with Two High-Profile Appointments
Alexie Glass-Kantor leads curatorial strategy and Dunja Gottweis directs Art Dubai’s flagship fair.
Art Dubai Group has announced major leadership changes to strengthen its position as the Gulf region's leading art fair. Alexie Glass-Kantor will step in as Executive Director, Curatorial, while Dunja Gottweis takes over as Director of Art Dubai.
Glass-Kantor, a renowned curator, will shape Art Dubai’s year-round programming, leveraging her experience at Art Basel Hong Kong and the Venice Biennale. Meanwhile, Gottweis, formerly of Art Basel, will direct the flagship fair, focusing on galleries from underrepresented regions.
CEO Ben Floyd emphasized the appointments as pivotal for the organization’s long-term expansion, aiming to elevate Art Dubai’s influence globally. The new roles reflect the UAE’s growing prominence as a cultural hub.
